Aimee,
This is Texxie. Her name was Gretchen when she was here
before. She came in as a puppy (the pic is from the first time she was here) and was adopted in December. She
was brought back this weekend because the family who took her said that she was too rough with the kids and the owner's girlfriend
(mouthy). He said it was playful, but I am wondering if he sugar-coated it because he didn't want to see her euthanized.
He also said that she does well with other dogs, but we tried to match her and she wasn't crazy about him (hopefully it was
just that dog, we haven't tried any others). She is pretty young, 7 months. She seems very sweet, and we haven't
had any issues with her so far. She is mouthy, though, and the old owner said that she just won't learn anything, such
as housetraining, not jumping, not chewing and biting, etc. Hopefully you can help her out.

Humphrey- Lab/Spaniel X, Poor little Humphrey came to us all skin and bones.
He was taken from his owners due to neglect. He has gained quite a bit of weight here at the shelter, but is in desperate
need of a little extra love. Finding a forever home would help Humphrey to forget his past. He would pay you back
with a lifetime of love and devotion. If you would like to help Humphrey finish his recovery, please come to the shelter
and visit him. Humphrey gets along with other dogs as long as there is no food around; he wants it all to himself -understandably.

| Chico - URGENT |
Chico- This 2.5 year old lab mix boy is high-spirited and so sweet.
Chico came to us a very skinny and very sad little dog. He is now fat and happy! He could be even happier, though.
All it would take is a family to take him home and love him. Chico would do very well with any other dog who could put
up with all of his playful energy!

Griffy is a 2 year
old Rott/Shep x, nuetered. Awesome! He does have an oral fixation, though. Always has a toy in his mouth.
He came from a neglect case where we took several dogs.

Candy is a 7 year
old chow x. She is urgent. Candy is high heartworm positive. Very sweet girl,
she has been temperment tested and did very well. A few months ago, she was supposed to go on the Rescue Waggin' but
they didn't take her at the last minute because she was timid with them. We would really like for her to find a good
home, because we may not be able to keep her here much longer.

old shep. x, spayed. She has been here since '04. She is a WONDERFUL dog, but needs to be the only pet.
She is a GREAT mouse hunter! She is also a digger. She is sooooo sweet, though, and loves people.
